69,688 Odometer Reading. This odometer reading is believed to represent actual mileage but this vehicle is sold as mileage exempt due to being more than 10 years old. History and Condition. Our understanding is that this Impala had a long term lady owner in the Andover Kansas area until approximately 10 years ago when it was purchased by the second owner and then pretty quickly sold to the 3rd owner who has had the car for the past 10 years. He had $8,719.84 in mechanical and performance upgrades professionally done on this very original and solid car. Photographs below show details of all this mechanical work.The car still has a Branine Chevrolet sticker on the rear bumper. This fits in with the information as Branine was a Mulvane New Chevrolet store when this car was new reinforcing that this car has been in this area since new. (I bought my first new car, a 1969 SS Camaro from Branine also.) The last owner of this car was very confident that the car has 69k actual miles based on the history of the car and its condition. You will note in the itemized mechanical billing where the engine was rebuilt/upgraded, (this was done primarily because the owner wanted to bump up the 327's horsepower) the crankshaft was POLISHED (did not need to be ground) and standard main and rod bearings were used in the reassembly. Most engine rebuilds require the crank shaft to be ground 10 to 30 thousands due to wear. The standard bearing crankshaft in this Impala gives support to this car being a 69k actual mile car. Cosmetically, this car looks great from every angle. The paint is in excellent condition. It appears to have been refinished one time, back to the original Artesian Turquoise KK paint code. The car seems to be very solid showing no rust except for some small blisters under the paint on the right rear wheel well - close up photo below. The underside of the car is clean and solid as the photos also show. This car drives out super nice. It has that great 60's and 70's "rumpty rump" cammed up Chevrolet V8 performance sound. Unfortunately in the video there was so much background train noise that it is a little hard to hear the great exhaust tone. The car has been a real attention getter since we got it at our dealership. A nice original matching #'s Chevy like this Impala should make a great investment for its next owner and a fun car to drive and show.
