History and Condition.    This is a very original matching #'s, never been messed with (even has its original smog pump), 70 LT1 Convertible undergoing complete body off frame rotisserie restoration. Body and interior were in good original condition prior to restoration. Original engine has been professionally rebuilt back to original high compression specifications (will require octane boost or racing fuel) by Wichita's Hebb Automotive Machine. The only engine modification was to add stainless steel exhaust valves and hardened exhaust seats for unleaded fuel. Equipment includes original 370 H.P. 350 Engine with transistorized ignition, 4 speed transmission, power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes, convertible top and hard top with vinyl top option. This is a Mulsanne Blue (code 976) with white LT1 striping car with Saddle Vinyl interior.  We will contract this Corvette to completion for interested individual. We have body off frame restored other Corvettes (a '61, a 69 Convertible, a 70 coupe) and are willing to provide contact information of these owners to serious buyer.
