Here is a good looking Corvette at a Great Price. We are presenting this car in its current condition to hold down the purchase cost and have not run it through our typical 16 Point Service And Safety Inspection. Although it looks good and runs strong, it has cosmetic, electrical and mechanical flaws. We will list items below that we are aware of and suggest you look at the photos and watch the driving video. Cosmetics. The fiberglas body is pretty solid and straight but the paint's clear coat is whitening on some of the horizontal surfaces. The leather seats have tears in them and have been covered as you can see in the photos. Mechanically. The car's engine was missing noticeably on one cylinder until I drove it to do the video, then it smoothed out and started running very strong. We don't know if it had a fuel injector sticking that cleared up with fresh gas or what caused this. The right side valve cover gaskets need replaced. The air conditioning does not work. Something in the rear suspension is loose and so "steers" under acceleration. There may be other items but these are the ones that we noticed. Items working properly include headlight doors, windshield wipers, power windows, power door locks and drivers side power seat. Electrical. Some of the gages do not work properly. The speedometer and odometer work but the tachometer and oil pressure gage both appear to have readings that are too high. There may be other electrical problems we are not aware of.
