Pre Purchase Inspection on 1998 Lamborghini

Mechanical

1. Clutch feels Okay and seems solid under moderate acceleration.

2. Clutch engages at approximately 70% of clutch pedal travel.

3,  Car shows no significant oil leakage.  There is dry oil residue on oil pan and transmission pan.

4.  Air conditioner system is working and fan blows good with temperature at center vent blowing 65 degree air with 73 degree ambient temperature, which probably indicates a low refrigerant charge.  Typically, air conditioner systems should have a 30 degree minimum cool from ambient air temperature.

5. Compression test shows consistent reading with 4 pounds.  Specifically, Cylinder 1 has 132 pounds, Cylinder 2 130 pounds Cylinder 3 130 pounds, cyliner 4 130 pounds, cylinder 5 128 pounds cylinder 6 128 pounds, cylinder 7 132 pounds, cylinder 8 128 pounds, cylinder 9 128 pounds, cylinder 10 130 pounds, cylinder 11 132 pounds, cylinder 12 132 pounds.

6. Visual inspection of brake pads indicates they are like new.

 Cosmetic Exterior

1.  Front of car from doors forward appears to have been refinish.  Quality of finish is not as good as factory.

2.  Front of car has some chips as shown in photos and has been covered with a clear coat plastic film which magnifies flaws and orange peel.

3.  Minor chip in clear coat on rear black spoiler section.

4.  Windshield has crack in upper left corner - barely noticeable as it is small and in the tinted area.  Glass other wise looks good.

5.  Tires show good tread depth.  Photo of tread depth for each tire included.

6.  Undercarriage looks clean and factory appearing.  Rivets on panels in right front and left front undercarriage are bright as opposed to black finish on other rivets.  Photos show this.

7. Clear plastic film is also on leading edge of mirrors and leading edges of vents in front of rear wheels.

Interior.

1.  Headliner looks good.

2.  Dashboard is good.

3.  No noticeable wear on leather interior observed.

4.  All Knobs and latches are in place.

Other.

1. Headlights work.

2. Windshield wipers work.

3. Power windows work.

4. Horn works.

5. Radio works.

6. Weatherstriping on doors and front bonnet are good.
